About College

The campus is situated at the western tip of the Malabar Coast in Kannur District, Kerala, along the Karnataka-Kerala Highway. It lies in close proximity to major cities such as Kannur, Talasseri, Koothuparamba, and Mahe, and borders the districts of Pondicherry State (MAHE), Kasaragod, and Wayanad.

Covering 218 acres of lush, contiguous land at Anjarakandi, Kannur District, the campus is just 10 km from the upcoming Kannur Airport and 15 km from both Talasseri and Kannur Railway stations. The location is well-serviced by various forms of public transportation.

A freshwater river flows through the eastern part of the main campus, with Kannur Airport to the northwest and the highway to the north. This site will serve as the administrative and educational core of the proposed Malabar Institute of Technology.

The land has a historic significance dating back to 1877, originally owned by the East India Company and recognized as the first registered landed property in Kerala (refer to the Kerala Government website for Land Register). A bungalow built in 1897 on this property is currently being restored to its former glory.

Bachelor of Physiotherapy(BPT)

Physiotherapy is a leading, evidence based health care profession that treats a variety of injuries and illnesses and improves your overall health and wellbeing. Physiotherapy is an independent profession, which deals with prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of various musculoskeletal, neurological, chest and other medical disorders by means of electrotherapy, exercise therapy and manual therapy.

B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology

Medical Laboratory Technology also called Clinical laboratory science is an allied health profession which is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease through the use of clinical laboratory tests. These tests help doctors to detect, diagnose and treat diseases. A Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) do these tests by analyzing body fluids, tissues, blood typing, microorganism screening, chemical analyses, cell counts of human body etc.
