Kannur Medical College, Anjarakandy

The campus is situated at the western tip of the Malabar Coast in Kannur District, Kerala, adjacent to the Karnataka-Kerala Highway. It is conveniently located near the major cities of Kannur, Talasseri, Koothuparamba, and Mahe. The property covers 218 acres of lush, contiguous land at Anjarakandi, Kannur District, and is just 10 km from the upcoming Kannur Airport. It is 15 km from the major cities of Talasseri and Kannur, both of which have railway stations, and is well-connected by various forms of public transport. 

The campus features a freshwater river flowing through its eastern side, with the Kannur Airport to the northwest and the highway to the north. This location will serve as the administrative and educational center for the Malabar Institute of Technology. The land's history dates back to 1877, originally owned by the East India Company, and is noted as the first registered landed property in Kerala (refer to the Kerala Government website for Land Register details). A bungalow built in 1897 on the property is currently being renovated to restore its historical charm.
