About College

Padua College of Commerce and Management traces its roots to Padua Pre-university College and stands as the latest addition to the esteemed roster of Catholic Board colleges since its establishment in 2011. Under the auspices of the Catholic Board of Education and overseen by Bendoor Church, led by Rt. Rev. Dr. Aloysius Poul Dsouza, the Bishop of Mangaluru, with Rev. Fr. Jerald Dsouza as secretary and Rev. Fr. Antony Serrao as Padua College's Correspondent, it embodies a commitment to academic excellence and holistic development.

Despite its relative youth, Padua College of Commerce and Management has swiftly garnered acclaim within the academic circles of Mangaluru University. Presently, the college offers undergraduate programs in BBA and BCom, with a recent addition of a BCA course commencing from June 1st, 2021. Moreover, it provides specialized training for banking examinations and offers certificate courses in Computer Science, Theatre, Kathak, and Bharatanatyam.

With a focus on both academic rigour and the cultivation of extracurricular talents, Padua College diligently prepares its students for the demands of the professional arena and nurtures them to become exemplary citizens of the nation.

Programme Outcome (PO)

PO 1: To develop numerical and analytical abilities of students
PO 2: To instill in students writing skills.
PO 3: To make the students aware of the law and legislations lay down by the constitutions
as well as the government.
PO 4: To equip students with new trends in business, organizations and industries.
PO 5: To provide knowledge about the economic behavior of the Country as well as World.
PO 6: To make the students fit for the corporate world by providing them with practical
knowledge related with banking and other sectors.
PO 7: To contribute towards overall development of the students and strengthen their
knowledge about recent trends in the world.
PO 8: B. Com and BBA degree is formed to provide the students managerial and
communicative skills in disciplines related to commerce and management. At the
completion of the programs, students gain an extensive knowledge on core subjects
like accounting, taxation, HRM, law, statistics, finance, and marketing.
PO 9: Students of B. Com and BBA are expected towards getting high employment
opportunities by the knowledge gained by them through the programs.
PO10: Student seminars and presentations are made a part of the curriculum in order to
improve their confidence, knowledge and communication skills.
PO 11: To motivate students to take up their own business by attaining them with the
required skills and abilities of entrepreneurship.

students are upgraded with the current market scenario.
