Mar Thoma College of Special Education Kasaragod

Mar Thoma College of Special Education (Institute of Speech and Hearing), located at Mar Thoma Mount in Badiadka, Kasaragod, operates as a self-financing institution. It is duly recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India and is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (formerly affiliated with Kannur University from 2003 to 2009).

Established in 2003, the college is under the management of the Kunnamkulam-Malabar Diocese of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church. The church has a longstanding commitment to the education and rehabilitation of individuals with hearing impairments, spanning over 40 years. This commitment is demonstrated through initiatives like the Mar Thoma School for the Hearing Impaired and related projects in Cherkala, Kasaragod.
