Vijaya Teachers College, established in August 1960, is a distinguished institution run by the prestigious BHS Higher Education Society in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. With a rich legacy in educational administration dating back to 1942 and guided by the motto "Excellence in Education," the BHSHES manages 17 educational institutions across Bengaluru and T. Narsipura. Our secular outlook ensures that our institutions serve all sections of society.

Vijaya Teachers College holds Permanent Affiliation from Bengaluru City University and is recognized by the National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE). The college is also recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and listed under 12B & 2F as per UGC norms, signifying its adherence to national academic standards. In 1997, upon recommendations from the Human Resource Development, Government of India, our college was proudly upgraded by the Karnataka State Government as a College of Teacher Education (CTE). We are also re-accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Comprehensive B.Ed. Program:

Vijaya Teachers College offers a highly regarded two-year B.Ed. program designed for candidates aspiring to become secondary school teachers. This pre-service undergraduate course is open to graduates from various disciplines, including Arts, Science, Commerce, Business Management, and Engineering. The program has an intake of 75 seats for candidates admitted through the Centralized Admission Cell of Karnataka, with an additional 25 seats reserved under the management quota.
