Poornaprajna College (AUTONOMOUS), Udupi.

Poornaprajna College, known as PPC, is located amidst expansive greenery in the heart of Udupi city. It stands just 1 KM away from Udupi Bus Stand, 4 KMs from Udupi Railway Station, and approximately 45 KMs from Mangalore Airport.

Established in 1960 under the auspices of Udupi Sri Admar Mutt Education Council, formerly led by H. H. Sri Sri Vibudhesha Theertha Swamiji, and now under H. H. Sri Sri Vishwapriya Theertha Swamiji, Poornaprajna College initially offered Arts and Commerce courses. Over the years, it expanded to include Science at both Pre-University and degree levels, and later introduced Management studies in 1975. In 2001, its Pre-University courses transitioned to the newly established Poornaprajna Unaided Pre-University College. The institution also offers M.Sc. and M.Com. courses since 2015.

In its 50th year, 2009-10, the college celebrated its Golden Jubilee, marked by the construction of an indoor stadium complex. Poornaprajna College received the prestigious "Award of Excellence" from the Udupi Chamber of Commerce & Industry in 2012 for its outstanding contribution to advanced education in Udupi district for the year 2011.

Recently, in 2022, the college was re-accredited with Grade 'A+' (3.27 CGPA) by NAAC for another 5 years, following a reassessment visit by a NAAC Peer Team.
