In recent years, the landscape for students in traditional hotel management programs has evolved significantly. The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly impacted the hospitality industry, necessitating a thorough reassessment and restructuring of educational programs catering to aspiring hospitality professionals. Moreover, the 2020 National Education Policy underscores the importance of a comprehensive, industry-aligned training approach.

In response to these dynamic shifts, the Bachelor's in Hotel Management (BHM) program at SIHA is transitioning into a cutting-edge four-year BSc (Honors) in Hospitality Management program at the newly established Nitte Institute of Hospitality Services (NIHS) within Nitte (Deemed to be University). This innovative curriculum is designed to equip students with the skills essential for a wider spectrum of hospitality services, offering greater academic flexibility to meet the demands of the industry.
