About College

The journey of K. Pandyarajah Ballal Institutions began in 1993. Over the past two decades, it has evolved into a hub for paramedical sciences, encompassing nursing and physiotherapy. Today, it proudly hosts postgraduate programs in both disciplines.

Nestled along the serene shores of the Arabian Sea in Ullal, our campus offers an idyllic setting for learning. Just 12 kilometers from Mangaluru Central Railway Station, 10 kilometers from Mangaluru Junction Railway Station, and 2 kilometers from Ullal Railway Station, accessibility is convenient. 1994 : Admission of first group of 30 B.Sc. Nursing Students.
1997 : Affiliation to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru.
1998 : Graduation of first batch of B.Sc Nursing.
2007 : Commencement of M.Sc. Nursing Course. (Child Health Nursing & Community Health Nursing)
2009 : Graduation of first batch of M.Sc .Nursing with 1st rank in Community Health Nursing.
2019 : Silver Jubilee of College of Nursing.

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION	ENGLISH SHALL BE THE MEDIUM FOR THE COURSE AS WELL AS FOR THE EXAMINATION

Eligibility for admission

Age Limit: 17 – 35 years.

Date of birth as recorded in the 10th standard certificate / birth certificate will be taken as authentic. No changes in the date of birth will be made once the candidate is enrolled for the course.

Academic Qualification:

The minimum qualification required for admission is a pass in Pre-University course /PDC or Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years of study recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. with Science Subjects Viz. Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

Percentage of Marks:

The candidate must have passed in the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and must have obtained not less than 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English at the Qualifying examination.

Marital Status:

Candidates married and unmarried are eligible to apply.

Candidates Should be Medically fit.
