VVIT offers a comprehensive range of programs, including five undergraduate (B.E./B.Tech) courses, five postgraduate courses, and two diploma courses. We are proudly affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, recognized by the Government of Karnataka, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Visionary Leadership and Esteemed Faculty:

VVIT was founded by the esteemed Late Prof. K. Venkatagiri Gowda, a renowned academician and economist from the London School of Economics. The Trust further benefits from the guidance of Dr. Venugopal K. R., Principal, University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, and Special Officer, DVG Bangalore University, who serves as the Honorary Technical Advisor. His vast expertise, including PhDs from IIT Madras and over 50 books in Computer Science and Economics, reinforces VVIT's commitment to academic excellence. The Trust's leadership includes Smt. Rukmini T (Chairperson), Sri. Thyagaraj K (Secretary), and Dr. T. Shiva Prakash (Treasurer and Professor, CSE), actively involved in academic administration and placements.

Under the leadership of Principal Dr. Sanjeev LingaReddy, VVIT has made significant strides, backed by modern infrastructure, supportive management, and a team of experienced faculty members. Senior professors, including Dr. N Krishnamurthy, Dr. S A Seethramu, Dr. Mithun V Kulkarni (Mechanical Engineering), Dr. Sridhar S B (ECE), Smt. Mangala Patil (CSE), and Prof. Virendra Kumara K N (Civil Engineering), are instrumental in molding students and driving the Institute towards greater heights.
