Established in 2001 by the visionary educationist and social worker Sri R. L. Jalappa, the R. L. Jalappa Institute of Technology (RLJIT) is a distinguished engineering institution located in Doddballapur, Bangalore Rural District. RLJIT operates as a proud unit of the Sri Devaraj Urs Educational Trust (SDUET), which was founded in Kolar in 1986 with a commitment to serving rural and backward communities.

RLJIT is fully approved by AICTE – New Delhi and is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) – Belagavi, ensuring its programs meet national academic standards. The institution boasts a highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated team of teaching and non-teaching faculty, complemented by state-of-the-art laboratories across all departments.
