Ansar Arabic College Valavannur, Malappuram

Ansar Arabic College Valavannur, located in Malappuram District, Kerala, was established in 1964 by the reformist Ansarullah Sangham. The college aims to uplift the local community through quality higher education. It affiliated with the University of Calicut in 1970, became government-aided in 1979, and later received Minority Status from the National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions.

The college offers a B.A. (Afzalul Ulama) in Arabic Language and Literature, a B.Com with Islamic Finance, an M.A. (Post Afzalul Ulama) in Arabic Language and Literature, and a Certificate Course in Afzalul Ulama Preliminary from the University of Calicut.

Managed by the Ansar Arabic College Committee under Ansarullah Sangham, the college has become a symbol of progress in Kerala, with its alumni holding prestigious positions worldwide. The Arabic Department has recently been upgraded to a Research Department.
